                          Aunt Clara's Grape Leaves

                                                              Ingredients
                                                                                 -1 Big Onion
                                                                           -2 LBS of Hamburger Meat
                                                                                       -Salt
                                                                             -1 Bottle of Mint Leaves
-1 Small Can of Tomato Paste
                                                                                      -Pepper
-2 Cups of Uncle Ben's Rice
                                                                              -3-4 Lemon's, Juiced
                                                                           -1 Jar of Grape Leaves

                                                                                     Directions
Mix first seven ingredients in bowl using your hands. Drain grape leaves and unfold them onto a plate. Take a small amount of the meat and lay it on the leaf (about a heaping greek tablespoon). Take bottom part of the leaf and fold it upwards around the meat, tucking in the sides of the leaf as you roll. No meat or point edges of the leaf should be showing. Repeat until meat mixture is gone. Pack the leaves tightly next to each other (to avoid them falling apart while cooking) in a large pot (enough to fit 40-50 dolmades). Pour lemon juice all over grape leaves. Next take the jar that the grape leaves originally came in and fill it with water. Place a plate on top of the leaves and put the jar on top of the plate. The jar is used to tell you when the grape leaves are finished cooking because the water will be almost all absorbed. It usually takes two hours to cook. When finished cooking, feel free to add lemon juice to your liking. It is always nice to have family and friend's help roll. Enjoy :)
